Job summary

Modular Scale Sdn Bhd, renowned for BUÉNOS Kitchen & Wardrobe, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee interior design and fit-out projects across sites in Malaysia. You will ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, quality and safety standards.

You will plan, monitor progress, coordinate ID trades and subcontractors, review drawings against site conditions, attend client meetings, and prepare progress reports for timely handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Construction Management, Building or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience in Interior Design & Fit-Out works.
• Hands-on ID & Fit-Out experience is essential.
• Good knowledge of ID drawings, interior finishes, materials, construction details and fit-out work sequences.
• Able to coordinate multiple ID trades and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong site management, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Willing to travel or be based at project sites when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily site operations for Interior Design & Fit-Out works.
• Plan and monitor site progress to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved ID drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate various ID trades, subcontractors, site supervisors, workers and material deliveries.
• Review drawings against actual site conditions and resolve site discrepancies or work clashes.
• Attend site meetings and inspections with clients, consultants and main contractors.
• Monitor workmanship, interior finishes, defects and rectification works.
• Prepare site progress reports and required documentation.
• Coordinate project completion, defect rectification and handover.
