Job summary

Vsconsultancy seeks an experienced Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our healthcare team in Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality critical care, monitoring patients, and supporting families in a fast-paced ICU environment.

You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, manage ventilated patients, and ensure accurate charting and infection control. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years ICU experience and current BLS/ALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current registration with nursing regulatory body.
• 2–3 years ICU/critical care experience.
• Advanced knowledge of critical care nursing principles, practices, and protocols.
• Proficiency with ICU equipment and monitoring systems.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication abilities with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to critically ill patients, including monitoring vitals and administering medications.
• Assess patient conditions regularly and report changes to the medical team.
• Operate and maintain ICU equipment such as ventilators and monitors.
• Communicate with patients and families about treatment plans with compassion.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation per healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with doctors, therapists and other professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Perform wound care, catheter management and other clinical duties as required.
• Assist with patient hygiene and daily living activities.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and provide immediate support.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment.
