Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care in line with hospital policies and collaborate with the ward team to ensure high-quality patient care.

You will assist with activities of daily living, maintain ward cleanliness, and report any incidents or concerns to nursing management, while supporting safe patient handling and responsive service delivery.

Qualifications

• Education: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia.
• Certified healthcare assistants would be a priority.
• Experience working in a hospital setting is an advantage.
• On-the-job training/in-service training will be provided.
• Able to converse fluently and write in English language and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, shifts, weekends, holidays, and emergencies.
• Experience working in hospital is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care in accordance with established standards.
• Coordinate with ward/ unit team members to deliver care.
• Report incidents or reportable situations to nursing leadership.
• Maintain ward cleanliness and organize patient beds and belongings.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and respond to patient calls.
• Support transport of patients and specimens as required.
