Job summary

China Telecom (Malaysia) SDN BHD is seeking a project/transition manager to create and manage ICT project plans, scope, cost, risks and UAT. You will coordinate transitions, track schedules and resources, and ensure delivery quality while maintaining strong communication with customers and engineers.

The role requires 3+ years in pre-sales technical support and project implementation within telecoms or system integration, with strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Studies / Electrical Engineering / Telecommunications or equivalent (required).
• At least 3 years of experience in pre-sales technical support and project implementation in system integration or telecoms.
• Sound knowledge in LAN, WAN networking technology, vendor network equipment, and IT equipment.
• PMP or SCRUM Master certification preferred; strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage ICT project plans including scope, implementation, cost, risk, and UAT.
• Lead project transition activities and manage communication between customers, engineers and management.
• Track project schedule, resources, costs, performance, and objectives; ensure alignment with baseline plans.
• Engage with 3rd party vendors for delivery and installation of hardware; manage escalation handling.
• Coordinate with delivery and operations teams for smooth BAU transition and resource integration in APAC and China Mainland.
