Bytebridge Technology Pte. Ltd. seeks an ICT Engineer to support design, implementation and delivery of ICT infrastructure for data center projects.
The role emphasizes structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, rack and stack, cable containment, equipment installation, testing and commissioning. The ideal candidate will work across design and onsite execution, supporting projects from planning through installation, testing and handover, in fast-moving environments.
We are looking for an ICT Engineer to support the design, implementation and delivery of ICT infrastructure for data center and critical infrastructure projects.
The role will focus on structured cabling, fiber infrastructure, rack and stack, cable containment, equipment installation, testing and commissioning, and technical coordination with project teams, vendors and contractors.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both design and onsite implementation and able to support projects from planning through installation, testing and handover.
Support the design and implementation of ICT and data center infrastructure.
Prepare and review rack layouts, rack elevations, cable routing, containment layouts and structured cabling designs.
Develop cable schedules, port mappings, patching schedules and related technical documentation.
Review drawings, specifications, BOQ/BOM and technical requirements.
Support ICT infrastructure planning for new data center builds, expansions and fit-out projects.
Coordinate ICT requirements with electrical, mechanical and other project disciplines.
Plan and coordinate structured cabling installations including copper and fiber optic cabling.
Familiar with Cat6/Cat6A, single-mode and multimode fiber such as OM3/OM4/OS2.
Understand fiber connectivity including LC, SC and MPO/MTP.
Support installation of patch panels, fiber panels, cassettes, patch cords and related components.
Review cable pathways, cable trays, ladder racks, fiber baskets and containment systems.
Ensure proper cable routing, segregation, labeling and cable management.
Familiar with industry cabling brands and solutions such as CommScope, Corning, Panduit, Legrand or equivalent.
Coordinate and support installation of server, storage and network racks.
Support rack and stack of servers, switches, routers and other ICT equipment.
Review rack elevations and equipment positioning.
Coordinate power and network connectivity requirements.
Perform or supervise patching, labeling and cable dressing.
Support equipment installation, relocation, replacement and decommissioning activities.
Coordinate copper and fiber testing and certification.
Familiar with Fluke testing equipment, OTDR and fiber testing methods.
Review test results and ensure installations meet project and industry requirements.
Troubleshoot physical connectivity and cabling issues.
Prepare testing records, punch lists and handover documentation.
Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, vendors, subcontractors and customers.
Conduct site surveys and validate site conditions against drawings and requirements.
Monitor installation progress, quality and compliance.
Resolve technical and installation issues onsite.
Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements and project specifications.
Support project testing, commissioning and final handover.
Maintain accurate rack elevations, cable schedules, port mappings and equipment records.
Review and update shop drawings and as-built drawings.
Prepare technical reports and project documentation.
Support BOM/BOQ preparation and material planning.
Ensure all project changes are properly documented.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in ICT infrastructure, structured cabling or data center projects.
Hands-on knowledge of structured copper and fiber cabling.
Experience with data center rack & stack and ICT equipment installation.
Able to read and understand technical drawings, rack elevations and cabling layouts.
Familiar with cable trays, ladder racks, fiber baskets and other cable containment systems.
Knowledge of cabling standards and good installation practices.
Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drawing tools will be an advantage.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Able to coordinate effectively with vendors, subcontractors and project teams.
Comfortable working onsite in active data center environments.
Able to support after-hours or weekend implementation activities when required.
Experience in hyperscale or large-scale data center projects.
Familiarity with NVIDIA reference architectures and high-density AI infrastructure environments will be an advantage.
Experience supporting high-density GPU/server rack deployments is preferred.
Familiarity with BICSI, TIA-568, TIA-942 or related ICT/data center standards.
Certifications such as BICSI, RCDD, CCNA, CDCP or equivalent are advantageous.
Experience with ICT infrastructure design, solution preparation or pre-sales support is a plus.
We are looking for someone who is technically hands-on but can also understand the overall infrastructure design. The person should be able to move between drawings, technical discussions and onsite implementation, and work effectively in a fast-moving project environment.
