Job summary

Infosys is seeking an IAM Cyber Security Architect / Senior IAM Architect in Malaysia to own and drive enterprise IAM strategy and delivery. You will lead architecture, design patterns, and governance, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant IAM solutions.

The role demands hands-on technical depth, stakeholder management, and proven leadership across IAM programs, with preferred experience in Saviynt, SailPoint, CyberArk, and directory services.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on IAM architecture experience and strong architectural thinking.
• Experience leading IAM programs, with stakeholder and client management skills.
• Proficiency with IAM technologies (SAML, OAuth/OIDC, LDAP) and modern identity security principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IAM architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise IAM solutions.
• Define IAM architecture, technology roadmap, design principles, integration patterns, and security standards.
• Lead large-scale IAM transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Provide architecture governance, technical reviews, design reviews, and implementation guidance.
• Ensure IAM solutions meet security, scalability, availability, performance, and compliance requirements.

The candidate should combine strong hands-on technical and architectural expertise with excellent client management, stakeholder management, program delivery, and team leadership capabilities. The role requires ownership of IAM solutions from requirements and architecture through implementation, integration, deployment, and operational transition.

Key Responsibilities

IAM Architecture & Implementation

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, implementation, and deployment of enterprise IAM solutions.
• Define IAM architecture, technology roadmap, design principles, integration patterns, and security standards.
• Lead large-scale IAM transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Provide architecture governance, technical reviews, design reviews, and implementation guidance.
• Ensure IAM solutions meet security, scalability, availability, performance, and compliance requirements.

• Strong understanding of Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML), RBAC, access certification, access provisioning/de-provisioning, SSO, MFA and federation.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), LDAP, REST APIs and directory services.

• Saviynt / SailPoint IIQ or ISC for IGA
• CyberArk for Privileged Access Management
• Active Directory / LDAP / Directory Services
• SSO, MFA, Federation and Passwordless Authentication

Team & Delivery Leadership

• Lead and mentor cross-functional IAM teams comprising architects, consultants, engineers, developers, and integration specialists.
• Provide technical direction and governance across multiple IAM workstreams.
• Drive planning, task allocation, delivery tracking, quality reviews, risk management, and technical escalation management.
• Coordinate effectively with application, infrastructure, cloud, network, security, and DevOps teams.
• Build technical capability within the team through mentoring, architecture reviews, reusable solutions, and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud IAM experience across Microsoft Azure/Entra ID, AWS and/or GCP.
• Experience with Zero Trust and modern identity security principles.
• Knowledge of PAM, CIAM, Identity Governance, identity threat protection and privileged identity management.
• Experience supporting IAM solution estimation, proposals, technical presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and pre-sales activities.
• Relevant product certifications in Saviynt, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Identity & Access would be advantageous.
