Job summary

Capcon Consulting is seeking a Construction Manager/MEP for Data Centre Projects in Medini Iskandar, Johor, Malaysia. You will own construction, commissioning, and client handover for hyperscale data centres.

You will lead delivery, coordinate main contractors and stakeholders, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence across civil, structural, architectural and MEP works.

The role demands a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical and 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 10 years construction experience with data center projects.
• Proven track record managing large-scale MEP packages for complex developments.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience as Construction Manager on large-scale data centre or mission-critical projects.
• Strong track record managing construction delivery from inception through completion and commissioning.
• Experience coordinating and managing main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site management, health & safety, and quality control processes.
• Ability to manage project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and site operations.
• Experience overseeing civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Mandatory Data Centre project experience.
