Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Construction Manager for Data Center / Mission Critical projects in KL/JB. You will lead on-site delivery across high-density infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while coordinating multiple contractors and special vendors.

The role requires 5–8 years in data center construction, strong MEP knowledge, and a proven ability to drive commissioning readiness and turnover. This is a 12-month contract with hands-on leadership on site.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience leading data center and/or mission-critical construction delivery.
• Strong knowledge of MEP/critical systems construction and handover processes.
• Proven ability to lead large multi-trade teams in high-pressure environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication to run site cadence.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-based construction delivery for AI-ready data center infrastructure.
• Direct multiple contractors and vendors across MEP, CSA, controls/BMS, fire, security, and network readiness.
• Own construction planning, permits, RAMS, ITPs, inspections, and progress verification.
• Drive interface management and sequencing to protect milestones and unblock issues.
• Maintain quality discipline: NCRs, punch lists, and turnover.
• Lead safety performance: toolbox talks, audits, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate commissioning readiness with ops teams: SAT/FAT support and handover docs.
• Produce clear site reporting: progress, risks, and look-ahead plans.
