Secret Recipe Cakes & Cafe Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Hygiene Supervisor to lead daily hygiene operations and ensure compliance with cleanliness standards across outlets. You will supervise hygiene staff, coordinate schedules, and monitor chemical usage and inventory.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Environmental Health or related field, 3–5 years’ experience, and strong knowledge of local safety regulations. Travel for audits may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Environmental Health, Food Safety, Hospitality, or related field.
• Languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of local safety regulations and compliance.
• Willingness to travel for compliance audits and surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily hygiene operations to maintain sanitation.
• Supervise hygiene personnel; monitor attendance, performance, and productivity.
• Plan manpower deployment, duty schedules and cleaning activities.
• Monitor inventory and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment; ensure storage and cost control.
• Conduct routine hygiene inspections and audits for compliance.
• Prepare hygiene-related reports and records for audits.
• Coordinate with internal departments for hygiene support during events.
• Ensure grooming and uniform standards of hygiene staff.
• Investigate hygiene issues and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement of hygiene standards and safety.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
