Job summary

Lam Research Corporation in Penang seeks a Technical Instructor to deliver the Manufacturing Academy curriculum to our manufacturing team, combining hands-on training with theory to improve skills and performance.

You will apply ADDIE, work with SMEs, and measure student progress while collaborating with internal teams to boost safety and quality. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred, with 1–3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of instructor-led technical training.
• Experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools.
• Experience with e-learning tools: Camtasia 9, Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led classroom instruction with hands-on training and coaching.
• Apply ADDIE model for new and refreshed training deliverables.
• Iterate on curriculum content with instructional designers and SMEs.
• Measure and document student progress.
• Gather KPIs to inform curricular strengths and weaknesses.
• Partner with manufacturing team to identify training enhancements for safety and quality.
• Interact with stakeholders to assess training effectiveness for continuous improvement.
