Job summary

Industry Leader in Malaysia's Shared Services Centre is seeking a Project Manager to contribute to project planning, coordinate resources, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a shared services environment.

Key responsibilities include managing project schedules, communications, data validation, reporting, and collaboration across teams to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting and finance or related field.
• 5+ years of working experience in related field (shared services experience preferred).
• Experience in project work such as finance transformation, system implementation or process improvement.
• Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to project planning, and maintain and monitor project schedules.
• Assist in organizing project meetings, including scheduling, preparing presentation materials, documenting meeting minutes and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Assist in the preparation and distribution of project communications, reports and presentations.
• Perform testing of configured solutions.
• Support data collection and cleansing, and validate data setup/ data load in production deployment.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance metrics.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, files and records in an organized and accessible manner.
• Coordinate resources and facilitate effective collaboration and communication among project team members.
• Collect, analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and insights relevant to project objectives and outcomes
• Undertake other project tasks as required.
• Contribute ideas for project improvement and optimization.
