Job summary

Cummins in Malaysia, Puchong is seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Application Engineer to join onsite with flexible work arrangement. You will liaison between OEMs, translate customer needs into product requirements and drive high quality installations across diesel/gas generator systems.

You will collaborate with engineering, sales and field teams to assess technical feasibility, optimize configurations and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master degree in Engineering or related field
• Senior/lead engineer experience in relevant discipline
• Export controls licensing may be required
• MS Office knowledge is preferred

Responsibilities

• Act as senior technical liaison between OEMs and Cummins across product development programs
• Negotiate inputs with SMEs and VPI teams to deliver installation requirements
• Translate customer needs into functional product requirements and support design reviews
• Ensure products are applied and installed correctly to meet system requirements
• Lead technical discussions with customers and consultants and participate in site visits and factory tests
