Job summary

Businesslist is seeking an accounting professional in Kuala Lumpur to prepare and review financial statements in line with standards. You will ensure smooth month-end and year-end closes, and analyse financial data to support business decisions.

The role requires a degree in accounting or finance, with CPA/ACCA preferred, and experience with ERP systems and accounting software. Hybrid work and long-term career potential are offered.

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Analyse financial data to support decision-making and business operations.
• Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers.
• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes.
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to efficiency enhancements.
