Job summary

Comet Technologies Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks an AR Accountant SSC APAC to manage end-to-end accounts receivable within a global context.

You will handle invoicing, collections, month-end closing, and tax support, working closely with Sales and Group Finance. The role requires a degree in accounting and at least 5 years AR experience; SAP knowledge is a plus. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance with ≥5 years AR experience.
• Strong AR knowledge: revenue recognition, month-end closing, reconciliations.
• Experience with SAP R/3 or similar ERP; IFRS/MFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in English with strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AR process: invoicing, payments, collections, dunning, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual closing including revenue recognition.
• Monitor overdue receivables and disputes; coordinate with Sales and Group Finance.
• Ensure tax compliance and IFRS/MFRS reporting; assist audits.
• Drive AR process improvements and provide timely reports.
