Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a HVAC Mobile Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at multiple facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and support on equipment as part of Engineering and Technical Services, ensuring safety and compliance, and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical / HVAC with 1-2 years of HVAC maintenance experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and perform ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures/processes under close supervision and guidance.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Operate company-issued vehicles to carry out daily work responsibilities.
