Job summary

JLL in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Technician specializing in mechanical systems to perform hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting in a manufacturing facility. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of HVAC, pumps, exhaust, and related mechanical systems through scheduled PM and rapid CM.

You will work in a 24/7 shift environment, read technical manuals, and report issues to engineers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance (HVAC, pumps, exhaust).
• Ability to read technical manuals, maintenance schedules, and mechanical drawings.
• Experience working in a shift-based 24/7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, cooling towers).
• Perform PM activities on HVAC, pumps, exhaust; document maintenance logs.
