Job summary

JLL is seeking a Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Technician in Penang, Malaysia to perform hands-on maintenance on HVAC, pumps, and exhaust systems. You will execute PM activities, troubleshoot faults, and ensure equipment reliability in a high-demand manufacturing environment.

The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to read technical manuals and drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years hands-on mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC, pumps and exhaust systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, maintenance schedules and drawings.
• Experience in a shift-based 24/7 operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, cooling towers).
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumps and exhaust systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust mechanical equipment per PM schedules.
• Monitor system parameters and perform routine checks.
