Job summary

Siemens Energy Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support field service delivery for high voltage transmission equipment. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair HV substations, perform troubleshooting, and provide on-site expertise to customers and internal teams in a dynamic, global context.

Ideal candidates hold an Electrical degree with 4+ years in HV field service and have strong communication skills in English and Mandarin; willingness to travel and work flexible

Qualifications

Electrical degree or equivalent required; hands-on HV field service experience is essential.
4+ years in field service engineering within high voltage transmission.
English and Mandarin proficiency requested; Asian languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

Install, commission, maintain, upgrade, refurbish and repair HV transmission equipment and substations.
Troubleshoot diagnostics and provide technical support to customers and internal teams.
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales & PM teams; document service activities and reports.
Represent Siemens Energy on site, oversee scope, approve completed work, mentor junior engineers.
Ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations, quality and HSE standards.
