Job summary

SKYLINE CATERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a young, energetic Kitchen Crew member for Nong Geng Ji in Malaysia. This hands-on, fast-paced role offers on-the-job training in authentic Hunan cooking and plenty of growth opportunities within the kitchen team.

You will assist with food preparation, support line cooks, maintain clean stations, follow recipes, and help with inventory and hygiene standards. No prior experience required, training provided.

Qualifications

• Energetic and reliable individual with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Team player with ability to collaborate under pressure.
• Good stamina to stand and lift moderate weights during shifts.
• Basic knife skills, or willingness to be trained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation (washing, cutting, marinating, prepping proteins and vegetables).
• Support line cooks and chefs during service, ensuring dishes are prepared to standard and on time.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
• Follow recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
• Assist with inventory checks, stocking, and receiving deliveries.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support dishwashing and kitchen sanitation duties as needed.
• Work collaboratively with the team during busy service periods.
