Job summary

Vertex Services in Malaysia is seeking an experienced recruiter to own a high-volume hiring process across blue-collar and technical roles. You will manage multiple channels, screen candidates using a structured guide, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

You will also handle onboarding and HR admin while ensuring compliance with Malaysian HR fundamentals (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruitment experience, ideally blue-collar/technical or manufacturing roles.
• Comfortable managing multiple hiring platforms and a high-volume pipeline.
• Strong screening instincts; ask technical questions from a structured guide.
• Solid grasp of Malaysian HR fundamentals — EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Employment Act basics.
• Well-organised and detail-oriented; juggle recruiting and HR admin.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Manage all our hiring channels end-to-end — JobStreet, LinkedIn, Indeed, referrals, and partners.
• Write and post job ads, source and headhunt candidates, and keep our ATS/tracker organised.
• Conduct first-round screening interviews and phone/video screens.
• Run structured technical screening for repair technician and engineering roles.
• Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer logistics.
• Track and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health).
• Own onboarding for new joiners and maintain HR records.

• Conduct first-round screening interviews and phone/video screens.

• Run structured technical screening for repair technician and engineering roles — asking prepared technical questions to shortlist candidates.

• Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback collection, and offer logistics between candidates and hiring managers.

• Track and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health).

HR Operations & Administration

• Own onboarding for new joiners.

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR files.

• Support day-to-day HR admin.

• Help keep HR policies, templates, and processes documented and up to date.
