Job summary

SPX Express in Sabah is seeking a committed operations supervisor to lead the hub during its start-up phase, establishing processes, workflows and standard operating procedures.

You will track shipments end-to-end, coordinate with warehouse outbound and linehaul, manage staff, and ensure 5S compliance while delivering reliable service from Telupid to customers across Sabah.

This role requires shift work, 45 hours per week, and a strong focus on inventory control and customer service.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Legally allowed to work in Sabah.

Responsibilities

• Lead and establish operation processes in the hub during the start-up phase.
• Track, monitor and ensure on-time shipment delivery from picked up to end customer.
• Manage and hire Staff / Subcon / Part time driver / rider.
• Handle cash on delivery money and ensure to bank-in everyday.
• Coordinate between hub, warehouse outbound and linehaul for smooth operation.
• Work closely with customer service and assist on handling customer requests.
• Control inventory and take care of every shipment to reduce the risk of missing and damaged parcel.
• Manage and ensure hub is meeting 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) standard.

Skills

Logistics experience 3-5 years

Education

SPM / O Level / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree equivalent
