Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking an HSSE professional to lead and oversee HSSE compliance and improvement initiatives across hospital sites in Malaysia. The role ensures alignment with legal requirements and corporate HSSE policies while guiding Facility Management and Operations teams on safety matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/ or Occupational Safety & Health management or any related field.
• Certified OSH or Environmental or OSH internal auditor.

Responsibilities

• Advise and monitor compliance with HSSE legal requirements for activities carried out within hospital sites.
• Provide HSSE guidance to Facility Management (FM) and Operations teams on safety-related matters.
• Recommend HSSE improvement plans based on findings from workplace inspections and compliance assessments.
• Identify HSSE hazards, conduct risk assessments, and propose appropriate risk control measures in accordance with the hierarchy of controls.
• Serve as the key person accountable for HSSE matters at the base site and coverage sites.

Education
