Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking an HSSE professional to lead safety, health and environment programs across hospital sites in Malaysia. The role focuses on compliance, risk assessment, audits and incident investigations, coordinating committees, and promoting a strong safety culture.

You will work with Facility Management and Operations teams to implement HSSE improvements and ensure regulatory alignment, with responsibilities extending to base and coverage sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Occupational Safety & Health management or related field.
• Certified OSH or Environmental or OSH internal auditor qualification.

Responsibilities

• Advise and monitor compliance with HSSE legal requirements for activities within hospital sites.
• Provide HSSE guidance to FM and Operations teams on safety-related matters.
• Identify HSSE hazards, conduct risk assessments and propose controls per hierarchy of controls.
• Serve as the key person accountable for HSSE matters at base and coverage sites.
• Plan and conduct HSSE compliance assessments and inspections.
• Organize HSSE Committee Meetings, act as Secretary, and coordinate EPMC meetings.
• Submit monthly performance updates and follow up audit findings for closure.
• Initiate incident investigations and provide practical corrective actions.
