IntelliPro partners with a leading AI and cloud hyperscale data centers operator in Asia to fill a critical HSE Director role for Malaysia. You will drive HSE strategy across data centres, offices and projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with group standards.

The role reports to the Malaysia General Manager and Country Leadership Team, overseeing governance, performance and risk management while leading a team of HSE professionals and site resources.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Science or related discipline.
• Minimum 18 years progressive HSE experience within high-risk industries.
• Minimum 10 years in HSE management with governance, compliance, auditing, risk management and organisational performance.
• Minimum 5 years in senior HSE leadership leading teams of HSE Managers, HSE professionals and site-based HSE resources.
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• The HSE Director is the senior Health, Safety and Environment leader for the local entity, responsible for the strategic direction, governance, integration, performance and continuous improvement of HSE across all operational data centres, construction projects, office facilities and future expansion activities.
• Serve as the principal HSE advisor to the Malaysia General Manager and Country Leadership Team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer expectations, Group HSE standards and industry best practices.
• Ensure HSE risks and opportunities are appropriately considered in key business decisions.
• Establish a unified Malaysia HSE operating model, ensuring consistency in governance, standards, reporting, auditing and assurance processes.
• Harmonise HSE procedures, systems, tools, KPIs and customer requirements across all sites and business units.
• Lead investigations into significant incidents, high-potential events and regulatory matters.
• Support certification programmes, industry awards and external benchmarking initiatives.
• Build positive relationships with customers, contractors, consultants and industry stakeholders.

Responsibility:

• The HSE Director is the senior Health, Safety and Environment leader for the local entit, responsible for the strategic direction, governance, integration, performance and continuous improvement of HSE across all operational data centres, construction projects, office facilities and future expansion activities.
