Job summary

Lam Research Malaysia is seeking an HR Support Representative to deliver efficient HR operations across the employee lifecycle for multiple countries. Based in Malaysia, you will be a key contact for employees and managers, processing HR transactions in line with procedures and SLAs.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong customer service, and Japanese language proficiency to support stakeholders in Japan.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) to support Japan-based stakeholders.

The impact you’ll make

The HR Support Representative is responsible for delivering efficient and accurate HR operational support across the employee lifecycle (Hire-to-Retire) for multiple countries. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and stakeholders, ensuring HR transactions are processed in accordance with established procedures, service level agreements, and compliance requirements. The position requires strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced shared services environment. Japanese language proficiency is essential to support stakeholders based in Japan.

What you’ll do

This position will be based in Malaysia and will be responsible for:

• Support and process Hire-to-Retire HR transactions and employee requests across multiple countries.
• Deliver services in accordance with agreed KPIs, service standards, and operational procedures.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of HR records, documentation, and system updates.
• Maintain compliance with established HR policies, processes, and approval requirements.
• Provide timely and professional support to employees, managers, and stakeholders.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Support ongoing process standardization and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals and deliver a positive employee experience.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Participate in HR projects and other initiatives as assigned.

Who we’re looking for

Mandatory Skills

• Proficiency in Japanese (written and verbal) to support stakeholders and employees in Japan.
• Basic knowledge of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, or shared services environments.
• Experience working with Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality customer service

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to2years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Exposure to HR operations, HR shared services, customer support, or administrative roles is an advantage.
