Job summary

Bell Ward in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR leader to develop and drive the organisation's human resources strategy, workforce planning, and people initiatives aligned with business objectives.

The role acts as a strategic advisor to the CEO, Management team, and Department Heads, overseeing talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and learning programs to foster a high-performing culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organisation's HR strategy, workforce plans, and people initiatives in line with business objectives.
• Act as a strategic HR advisor to the CEO, Management team, and Department Heads on organisational, workforce, and people-related matters.
• Lead talent acquisition and employer branding efforts to attract, engage, and retain high-quality talent.
• Drive performance management, talent development, succession planning, and learning initiatives across the organisation.
• Champion employee engagement, culture-building, retention, and employee experience programmes to create a high-performing work environment.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinary issues, grievances, and other sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgement.
• Oversee compensation and benefits programmes, salary reviews, promotions, and reward frameworks to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures, governance, and compliance practices are aligned with legal requirements and company standards.
• Utilise HR data and workforce analytics to support decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team while fostering accountability, collaboration, process excellence, and HR digital transformation.
