Responsibilities
- Develop implement and deliver effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the end to end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing and offer management.
- Negotiate and extend job offers ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Conduct reference checks and background verify cation processes as required.
- Oversee a comprehensive on-boarding program to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company.
- Oversee payroll coordination, leave management, insurance benefits and other employee welfare programs.
- Formulate, implement and regularly review practices to support our journey to be an employer of choice.
- Manage, provide advice on and actively resolve employee relations issues.
- Develop and implement staff engagement strategy incorporating best practices and relevant data points.
- Partner with senior management to identify and address workforce issues and needs.
- Monitor and ensure the organization’s compliance with local employment laws and regulations and ensure adequate quality control towards risks.
- Develop initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee office supplies, equipment maintenance and cultivate effective vendor relationships for services such as cleaning, security, and utilities, which includes comprehensive contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR working experience in Malaysia with a solid understanding of Malaysian Labor Laws and Local Employment practices is essential.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal in English and Bahasa Malaysia)
- Professional Mandarin Language skills would be advantageous.
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Expat employment practices and permitting is highly desirable.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
