Job summary

AEON Credit Service (M) Berhad in Malaysia seeks a proactive HR recruitment assistant to support end-to-end recruitment, induction, onboarding, and HR administration. You will screen candidates, schedule interviews, post job ads, and help maintain accurate records.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in HR/Business Admin/Management, strong communication, solid MS Office skills (Excel/Word), and the ability to work across departments. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.

Job description

Assist in Credit Operations Recruitment, including supporting hiring requirements across different department & function.

Assist in coordinating the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and follow-ups.

Screen candidates based on job requirements and assist in shortlisting suitable candidates.

Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules, required documents, and recruitment updates.

Assist in posting job advertisements and sourcing suitable candidates through various recruitment channels.

Support the HR team in monitoring recruitment progress and hiring timelines.

Induction & Onboarding

Coordinate employee induction and onboarding arrangements for new joiners.

Prepare and organize onboarding materials, documents, and schedules.

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure new employees are ready for their first day.

Assist in conducting or facilitating induction sessions and provide necessary support to new joiners.

Follow up on outstanding onboarding documentation and requirements.

HR Administration

Assist with general HR administrative tasks and documentation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and recruitment records.

Support the HR team in preparing HR reports, trackers, and other HR-related documents.

Handling special projects related to Administrative.

Perform other HR-related duties and ad hoc assignments as assigned.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, employees, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.

Well-organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.

Good understanding of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken.

Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Positive attitude, responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Basic knowledge of Canva for graphic design and visual content creation is an added advantage.

Basic knowledge of CapCut for video editing and creating short-form video content is an added advantage.

Creative and comfortable in developing simple graphics, videos, presentations, and other visual content for HR communications, recruitment, onboarding, induction, and employee engagement activities.
