Flex is seeking an HRBP Assistant Manager in Penang to drive HR programs and support business growth. You will partner with site leaders on talent needs, recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement while ensuring policy compliance and labor-law adherence.

The role requires strong communication across all levels, change management, and experience guiding managers through HR initiatives and inclusion efforts to strengthen the organization’s capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources or related field.
• Typically requires 7 years of HR or related experience.
• Experience across diverse HR functions and policies.
• Ability to communicate with all levels from shop floor to executives.
• Knowledge of labor laws and HR policy interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on HR strategies and actions for talent needs.
• Advise site management on employee engagement and workforce planning.
• Develop local recruitment programs and manage onboarding processes.
• Support policy interpretation and compliance with labor laws.
• Lead change management and diversity, equality, and inclusion efforts.
• Provide mentoring to managers and assist in program design.
