Job summary
Cegal in Malaysia is seeking an IT Engineer - HPC to join our 24/7 Operations hub. You will support mission-critical IT services for regional and international energy customers, collaborating with global teams across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
The role focuses on operating and maintaining HPC environments and applications, automating processes, and applying best practices for cost-efficient cloud architectures using Linux and Windows, with exposure to Slurm, Lustre, MPI and cloud
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technical-related area such as Computer Science or related discipline.
- Certifications may supplement formal education: AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, RHCSA/RHCE, LPIC, etc.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain existing HPC Environments (Infrastructure).
- Operate and maintain existing HPC Applications.
- Review and enhance established routines and best practices.
- Automation of relevant work processes.
