Job summary

System Care Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Kuala Lumpur team. This full-time role oversees daily housekeeping operations, manages a cleaning crew, and ensures high cleanliness and safety standards across client sites.

You will recruit staff, schedule shifts, monitor performance and report KPIs to senior management. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus own transport, are preferred.

System Care Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and facility management across our customer premises. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage a team of housekeeping staff/cleaning crew, and ensure that all areas under your responsibility meet the highest standards. This role is essential to creating welcoming and well-maintained environments for our clients, directly contributing to their satisfaction and our company's reputation.

Key responsibilities

• To recruit and deploy manpower for new projects.
• To attend site visits for prospective clients.
• To oversee demobilization exercise for end of contract.
• To supervise, train and manage the housekeeping team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning and maintenance services
• Plan and organize daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules and work assignments
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to verify cleanliness, hygiene standards and compliance with company policies
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and materials, ordering stock as required
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues, guest complaints and service requests, implementing solutions or escalating appropriately
• Maintain detailed records of housekeeping activities, incident reports and staff performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste
• Identify training needs and conduct coaching sessions to improve staff performance and development
• Liaise with other departments to coordinate services and resolve operational challenges
• Report on key performance indicators and prepare reports for senior management
• To prepare monthly attendance summary and submit monthly stock order.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar supervisory role in facilities management or hospitality
• Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping/cleaning operations in a similar capacity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Knowledge of health, safety and hygiene standards in facility management
• Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems and basic computer skills
• Physical capability to perform housekeeping duties when necessary
• Experienced in machine handling and chemical dilutions
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work flexibly, including potential shift work, weekends and public holidays as required
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
• Possess own transport.
