Job summary

Trove Johor Bahru is seeking a hotel operations supervisor to oversee housekeeping and public areas at our Johor Bahru property. You will lead daily staff shifts, ensure cleanliness across public spaces, and coordinate with maintenance for timely upkeep.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent English communication, and a detail-oriented approach to maintain high standards for guest areas, banquet halls, and facilities. On-site presence and a proactive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and brief daily assignments for each staff shift.
• Ensure public areas and other functional areas are kept clean at all times.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are in good condition and well maintained.
• Supervise daily, weekly and monthly projects for public area staff.
• Coordinate maintenance work with the maintenance department.
• Keep banquet hall and function hall ready and clean for events and conferences.
• Maintain cleanliness in back areas, lobby, hotel grounds, and guest areas.
• Report safety or security hazards to the security department.
• Maintain minimum stock and cost control for materials.
• Ensure spa and gym areas are clean and well maintained.
