Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to ensure guest rooms and areas meet luxury cleanliness standards. You will clean rooms, replenish supplies, and uphold the brand’s service excellence.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment. Competitive benefits and staff accommodations are offered. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred and local work rights are required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hotels preferred.
• Basic understanding of housekeeping procedures and sanitation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and commitment to guest service.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift and push cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas per hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities and supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and disinfect designated areas.
• Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Respond to guest requests courteously and personally.
• Handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Adhere to departmental service standards and health & safety regulations.
• Update room status and coordinate with Housekeeping Office and other departments.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown service when required.
• Keep carts and storage areas organized and stocked.
• Support team members and foster a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will play an essential role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring every room reflects the service excellence and quality synonymous with the Four Seasons brand.

What You Will Do

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas according to established hotel standards and procedures.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish amenities, towels, and guest supplies.
• Vacuum, dust, polish, and disinfect all designated areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Inspect rooms to ensure they are guest‑ready and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
• Respond courteously and efficiently to guest requests, ensuring a positive and personalized guest experience.
• Maintain proper handling, storage, and usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Adhere to departmental service standards, hotel policies, and health and safety regulations.
• Update room status accurately and communicate effectively with the Housekeeping Office and other departments.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, deep cleaning programs, and turndown service when required.
• Ensure housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and work areas are organized, clean, and adequately stocked.
• Support team members and contribute to a collaborative working environment.

What You Bring

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Basic understanding of housekeeping procedures, cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
• Physically fit and capable of performing tasks involving standing, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing housekeeping equipment throughout the shift.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by hotel operations.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
