Job summary

Travelodge Hotels - Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Reservations Officer to manage room bookings through phone, email, OTAs and direct channels, ensuring accuracy and timely handling to maximise occupancy and guest satisfaction.

You will coordinate with Front Office, Sales and other departments, respond to inquiries with clear information on room types, rates and policies, and maintain precise reservation records for daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in hotel reservations or related hospitality role.
• Experience with hotel PMS and online booking platforms is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Customer-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to handle multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Reservations Management: Handle and process room reservations from phone, email, hotel website, OTAs, travel agents, and other channels.
• Guest & Customer Service: Respond promptly with accurate information on room types, rates, facilities, and policies; assist with special requests.
• Coordination & Communication: Liaise with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping, Finance and other departments; communicate VIP/group bookings and special requests.
• Administrative & Reporting: Maintain reservation records, prepare daily reports, monitor discrepancies and assist with audits.
