Job summary

Meili Resort Hotel Sdn Bhd is seeking a guest services coordinator to manage bookings and guest inquiries at our Sabah property. You will handle reservations via phone, email, and PMS, while ensuring accurate data entry and timely updates.

Chinese language skills are a plus to assist our diverse guest base. The role involves explaining room types, rates, packages, and hotel facilities, as well as promoting higher category rooms and added amenities.

Qualifications

• Clear speaking voice and polite email writing skills (Preferably Chinese speaking/writing).
• Accurate data entry for guest names, dates, and payments.
• Familiarity with hotel booking tools like OPERA or other PMS.
• Patience and problem-solving abilities when handling guest questions.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming requests via phone, email, and property management systems.
• Update, modify, or cancel reservations accurately and quickly.
• Explain room types, rates, packages, hotel facilities, and cancellation rules.
• Upsell higher room categories, special packages, or extra amenities.
• Coordinate special guest requests and share arrival notes with the front desk or housekeeping.
