The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as a Technician and can interpret meter readings, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality of guest information.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Technician.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of tools and equipment.
• Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and time-management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with different departments.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing, or standing.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with different types of people to comprehend needs and provide information and assistance.
• Interpret readings from meters and gauges and other measuring units.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments.
• Work under pressure with sound judgment.
• Maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and proprietary information.
• Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property.
• Read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals.
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms (plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing hardware, HVAC).
• Maintain hotel facilities and public areas, including plumbing and electrical work.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Operate independently as a mechanic, analyzing problems and implementing solutions.
• Monitor fire alarm/life safety systems and respond to emergencies.
• Read blueprints and schematics; follow instructions.
