Job summary

Wang's Hotel @ Gurney Drive in Penang is seeking a hotel housekeeping worker to maintain guest room cleanliness and comfort. You will clean and prepare rooms to hotel standards, check for damages after check-out, and ensure public areas remain tidy and inviting.

You will also respond to guest requests for towels, pillows, toiletries, or cleaning services and handle laundry using the hotel washing machine, storing clean laundry properly for future use.

Job description

Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, mirrors and windows

Check rooms carefully after guest check-out for damage, missing items or belongings left behind

Clean corridors, staircases, lifts, lobby areas and other assigned public areas

Respond politely to guest requests such as additional towels, pillows, toiletries or room cleaning.

Use the hotel washing machine to clean dirty laundry, and properly store away clean laundry for future use
