Job summary

Komune Living & Wellness in Cheras is seeking an Assistant Manager, Engineering to oversee daily operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring hotel facilities, equipment, and building systems are well maintained and safe for guests and staff.

You will supervise the engineering team, coordinate preventive maintenance, respond to requests and emergencies, and collaborate with Housekeeping, Front Office, and other departments to deliver timely repairs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in hospitality engineering
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Proficient with MS Office and related tools

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department
• Supervise engineering team and ensure work is completed safely
• Coordinate preventive maintenance for hotel facilities and systems
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
