Job summary

Kenny Hills Manufactory Sdn Bhd invites ambitious chefs to join its new Johor outlet. This opening team role welcomes fresh graduates eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will set up stations, prepare ingredients, cook dishes, follow head chef directions, and uphold food safety. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop culinary skills while working alongside experienced staff in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Cooking experience in kitchen roles such as line chef or prep cook.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Accuracy and speed in tasks.
• Familiarity with industry best practices.
• Culinary diploma is an advantage.
• Valid food handler certificate and typhoid vaccination, or willingness to obtain.
• Eager to learn and continuously improve culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for service ( chopping vegetables, butchering meat, sauces )
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Follow instructions from the Executive or Sous Chef and report issues promptly
• Clean up station and take care of leftovers
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with food safety, sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
