Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad is seeking a Hospital Kitchen Supervisor to oversee patient meal services and ensure high standards of quality and safety in a hospital kitchen environment. You will supervise staff, plan rosters, contribute to budgeting and resource planning, and ensure compliance with HALAL, ISO 22000, and other quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in food and beverages operation (fresh graduates accepted).
• Familiarity with operation in hospital kitchen.
• Experience in food & beverages industry is a plus.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all subordinates and coordinate activities to provide efficient service.
• Involved in budget, manpower planning and other resources allocation.
• Plan roster and work assignments for staff.
• Evaluate and supervise Dietary staff on performance/KPI.
• Involve in menu planning and ensure staff comply with food prep standards.
• Ensure food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Develop and implement service policies and quality assurance measures (e.g., Patient Satisfaction Questionnaires, HALAL, ISO 22000).
• Assist in staff training and participate in internal/external courses.
• Engage in new services introduced by the company.
