Job summary

Lingkaran Trans Kota Sdn. Bhd. (LITRAK) is seeking an Engineer – Civil to support planning, inspection, maintenance, and improvement of highway infrastructure in Malaysia. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and may gain exposure to regulatory and operational requirements.

You will inspect highway assets, assess defects, and coordinate repair and upgrading works while liaising with authorities and preparing technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Highway Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, planning, coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Good technical report writing and proposal preparation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct highway engineering inspections to ensure structural integrity and safety of assets.
• Assess and analyse highway defects, damages, and structural issues; propose remedial solutions.
• Plan, coordinate, supervise, and monitor highway repairs, rehabilitation and upgrading works.
• Review third-party applications and prepare engineering comments, reports, and recommendations.
• Liaise with local authorities and government agencies on approvals and inspections.
• Prepare engineering reports, proposals, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate measurement, testing and gauging activities for monitoring and maintenance.
