Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sabah is seeking an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to design and supervise road and highway projects. You will handle pavement, drainage, traffic control and earthwork, with setting-out and wall work knowledge essential.

Proficiency in MS Word/Excel and basic AutoCAD is required, along with a driving license and CIDB Green Card. Applicants should have 5–8 years of relevant experience and hold a recognized engineering degree, with BEM/IEM or Ir./PE credentials an

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Registered with BEM; IEM membership or Ir./PE qualification is advantageous.
• 5–8 years experience in design and/or supervision of road/highway projects including pavement, drainage and traffic control.
• Knowledge of road setting-out, earthwork, pavement works, traffic control, roadside drainage and retaining wall.
• Knowledge of MS Word & Excel, basic AutoCAD and Works Programming software.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving license and CIDB Green Card.
• Good conduct with no criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and supervision of road and highway works including drainage and traffic control.
• Prepare setting-out and earthwork calculations and monitor construction progress.
• Provide knowledge of pavement works, roadside drainage and retaining wall requirements.
• Utilize MS Word, Excel and basic AutoCAD for project documentation.
• Maintain compliance with CIDB and local regulations throughout the contract.

Job description

Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering from a recognized university.

Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), membership with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) or Professional Engineer (Ir./PE) qualification will be an added advantage.

5 to 8 years working experience in design and / or supervision of road and highway projects including pavement, drainage and traffic control.

Knowledge of road setting-out, earthwork, pavement works, traffic control, roadside drainage and retaining wall.

Knowledge of MS Words & Excel, basic AutoCAD and Works Programming software.

Possess a valid Malaysian driving license and a valid CIDB Green Card.

Good conduct and no criminal record.

The successful candidate will be entitled to an attractive remuneration package including annual leave, site allowance and medical allowance.

Yearly contract and extension until project completion (36 months).
