Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a site-based Planner to drive scheduling for high-rise developments in the Klang Valley. You will baseline the Master Construction Program and monitor progress using MS Project and Primavera P6.

You will generate reports, perform critical path analysis, and coordinate daily with the project team to ensure on‑time delivery of complex commercial and residential works.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of site‑based planning experience with a main contractor, with exposure to high‑rise developments.
• Advanced hands‑on proficiency in MS Project/ Primavera P6.
• Solid technical understanding of high‑rise construction methodologies, floor cycles, and site logistics.
• Strong communication skills, analytical mindset, commitment, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Establish, update, and baseline the Master Construction Program using MS Project.
• Monitor on-site construction progress across packages to ensure prompt project completion.
• Generate progress reports, S‑Curves, manpower histograms, and project status updates for key stakeholders.
• Conduct critical path analysis, identify bottlenecks, and recommend proactive catch‑up plans.
• Assist in preparing EOT documentation and delay analysis for extension of time claims.
• Coordinate daily with the project management team, consultants, subcontractors, and site personnel.
