Job summary

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification or apprenticeship in automotive or heavy machinery maintenance.
• Experience as a heavy commercial vehicle technician or heavy machinery mechanic in a commercial setting.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Good communication and teamwork to liaise with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair heavy commercial vehicle or heavy machinery systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspections to identify and address potential issues.
• Maintain detailed records of all repair and service work performed.
• Collaborate with the broader team to ensure efficient operations.
• Stay up to date with industry techniques, technologies, and safety protocols.
