Job summary

Bekaya (Sabah) Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced technician to service and maintain Komatsu and Hitachi heavy machinery and 10-tonne lorries. The role involves routine servicing, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure all equipment operates safely and reliably on site.

You will diagnose mechanical faults, perform repairs, replace oils and filters, and keep detailed service records. Willingness to travel to various sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing Komatsu and Hitachi heavy machinery.
• Experience maintaining 10-tonne lorries.
• Knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose faults and perform repairs.
• Experience changing engine oil, filters, and lubricants.
• Willingness to travel to work sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and preventive maintenance on Komatsu and Hitachi heavy machinery and 10-tonne lorries.
• Inspect, service, and maintain diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Replace engine oil, filters, lubricants, worn-out parts, and other components as required.
• Ensure all machinery and lorries are maintained in good working condition and safe for operation.
• Attend to machinery and lorry breakdowns and provide on-site servicing and repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
• Report major mechanical faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure all servicing and maintenance activities comply with established safety procedures.
