Private Advertiser in Sarawak, Kuching seeks a skilled Heavy Machinery Technician to inspect, maintain and repair heavy equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operation. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine issues, and perform routine servicing at workshop or on client sites.

Responsibilities include reading manuals, documenting repairs, and coordinating with supervisors to secure parts and tools while complying with safety standards and company policies.

• Experience inspecting and maintaining heavy machinery.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and engine problems.

We are seeking a skilled and responsible Heavy Machinery Technician to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably while minimizing downtime.

Key responsibilities

Perform routine servicing, preventive maintenance, and repairs on heavy machinery, including excavators, wheel loaders, trucks, and other construction equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related problems.

Conduct equipment inspections to identify faults, wear and tear, and potential breakdowns.

Repair, replace, and adjust defective parts and components as required.

Perform engine servicing, oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication works.

Read and interpret technical manuals, service manuals, and equipment diagrams.

Attend to machinery breakdowns at the workshop or customer sites when required.

Ensure all maintenance and repair work complies with safety procedures and company standards.

Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, spare parts usage, and maintenance activities.

Coordinate with the Service Supervisor and Parts Department to ensure the availability of necessary spare parts and tools.
