Job summary

Aurelius Hospital Negeri Sembilan is seeking an experienced Environmental, Safety & Health Manager to oversee our environmental, safety, and health initiatives. In this full-time, permanent role, you will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to safeguard staff and patients.

You will lead risk assessments, implement control measures, manage waste programs, and provide training and guidance to staff, collaborating with regulators and external agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree or relevant qualification in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the healthcare industry.
• Thorough knowledge of environmental, safety, and health regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, safety, security, and health policies and procedures.
• Conducting risk assessments and implementing control measures to mitigate identified risks.
• Managing the hospital's waste disposal and recycling programs to minimise environmental impact.
• Providing training and guidance to staff on environmental, safety, and health best practices.
• Collaborating with regulatory bodies and external agencies to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Continuously reviewing and improving the hospital's environmental, safety, and health performance.
