St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Pastry Chef Manager to lead daily pastry operations, crafting high-quality pastries while guiding staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will manage budgets and ensure sanitation and food safety standards are met in a luxury hotel setting. The role emphasizes creative pastry production, staff development, and maintaining consistency across all pastry stations, with leadership duties and hands-on execution during peak service

Competenze

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.

Mansioni

Supervises and manages pastry staff; understands positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
Oversees pastry preparation shift operations.
Develops new pastry items and assists in menu development for pastry.
Ensures sanitation and food safety certifications are maintained.
Maintains quality and consistency of pastries across all areas.
Trains and develops staff, provides coaching and performance feedback.
