Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia seeks a Head of Mining Operations to lead underground mining activities in a remote FIFO PNG operation. You will direct mine development, production planning, contractor management, and safety compliance to deliver safe, efficient, and commercially focused production.

You will collaborate with Technical Services, Geology, and Executive Management to optimise plans, mentor senior staff, and uphold international safety standards across a challenging environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering required.
• Experience leading underground mining operations in remote FIFO environments is essential.
• CoC and Papua New Guinea work eligibility or immediate ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for underground mining operations, ensuring safe, productive, and efficient execution of mine development, production, ground support, ventilation, and mine services.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and Geology to develop and execute short-, medium-, and long-term mine plans.
• Champion safety leadership to ensure full compliance with mining legislation and safety standards.
• Manage departmental budgets, costs, and capital expenditure planning.
• Oversee contractor performance to meet productivity targets and safety requirements.
