Job summary

Qualifications

• Technical certification or drilling certification is required.
• Experience supervising drilling crews and field-based teams is essential.
• Knowledge of diamond drilling methods, rig operation and core recovery is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor diamond drilling crews to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Coordinate daily drilling activities, manpower, equipment utilisation and schedules.
• Monitor productivity, core recovery, and safety performance to meet targets.
• Ensure sample integrity and compliance with geological requirements.
• Conduct hazard identifications, risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Prepare operational reports and collaborate with geologists, engineers and site leadership.
